Guido Stefanoni was born in Lecco (Italy) in 1957. He graduated in Architecture at the University of Milan. After a period working with Prof. Marco Zanuso and another as Assistant Art Director at Young and Rubicam in Milan, he established his own firm collaborating with other architects and designers.
From1987, he is Principal and project leader of “Studio di Architettura Guido Stefanoni” in Lecco and, from 2006, he is also CEO of “SWG – Stefanoni Working Group”, which provides architectural technical and planning services.

He has lectured design and interior design at the ISAD (Institute for Architecture and Design) in Milan and at the Architecture Master course at the University of Milan. From 1991 to 1994 has been Vice President of the Architects’ Association of Como Province. He has worked in Italy, USA, France, Switzerland and South Korea.

The “Studio di Architettura Guido Stefanoni” works in many fields of architecture and interior design in particular in the housing, commercial and service sectors including retail and hospitality, as well as in building conservation, conversion and refurbishment.

The firm offers the clients a complete and tailored planning service, from inception to completion as it has structural and installation Engineers, as well as Legal Advisors.
Many major projects of the “Studio di Architettura Guido Stefanoni” have been published on specialised books and magazine on architecture and design. The Firm takes an active interest in the culture aspects of architecture by participating in competitions and debates.
